Women for Helena is hosting the State of Women’s Health in New Orleans, bringing together medical professionals, advocates, and community leaders for an honest, solutions-driven conversation on the issues most impacting women in our city. The program will address both clinical care and the social determinants of health that shape outcomes, while also confronting critical challenges such as domestic violence and sexual assault.

This panel will explore women’s health across the lifespan, with a focus on reproductive and maternal care, mental health, and cancer prevention. Panelists will discuss systemic barriers to care, gaps in screening and treatment, and the influence of social determinants of health on outcomes.
